Marie Primeau

Dear members of our House of Representatives I’m writing to you in support of legislation that allows New Hampshire to live up to our state motto “ live free or die”. I work for two agencies- birth to 3 supporting our most vulnerable infants and their families and CRJ Community Strategies supporting adults who live in our communities. I am also co-chair of the IOD Consumer Advisory Council. I see first hand every day how New Hampshire leads the way in strengthening world views of all people having abilities if we follow UNH institute on disabilities lead and get rid of the term “special” and dis abled choosing instead to recognize that all people have the right to life and to pursue liberty and happiness in our communities as members of our families. Please choose the right path and strengthen our laws to support all. Let’s keep our people home- out of much more costly hospitals, institutions, prisons and group homes. It has been proven many times over that cost effective care is found in families and community. Thank you for your service in the House of Representatives. Marie Primeau
