As a working parent, this bill would make it add barriers for me to ensure that my children are protected from dangerous communicable diseases, especially during the winter months. By law, parents must opt in to vaccine clinics and immunizations are delivered by staff who are licensed to do so. It is not clear what problem this legislation is seeking to fix, but it will certainly create problems for families and possibly increase infectious disease risk for communities.
