This bill that will harm women and children. Simple as that. We can all seen the harm that has been done in Texas. The mortality rate (percent of women dying when pregnant) has increased 33% from 2019 (with roe v wade) to 2023 (without access to abortion). Feel free to read about it in the 2025 propublica article. This trend holds true for increasing fetal mortality. Can someone explain how increasing mortality (deaths) is pro-life? We know law makers know this as well. That is why when abortion restrictions are put in place, those same lawmakers disband organizations responsible from reporting on the death and disability of both pregnant women and the fetuses. Plain and simple this bill looks to take away womens rights and harm NH families. This bill happens at the same time that money for food support for women and children is being taken away. This is cruelty. This state supposedly believes in the statement, “Live free or die”. What part of taking away access to healthcare for women is freedom. This is all part of a trend to punish women by keeping them pregnant, often with non-viable pregnancy (the baby will never live) which not only drains them financially, but prevents them having access education.
