I support HB 1593 because it strengthens New Hampshire’s commitment to equal treatment for people with disabilities. It ensures people cannot be excluded, denied services, or treated unfairly in programs that receive state financial assistance simply because of a disability. This bill brings state law in line with well-established federal protections and helps create a more inclusive and fair community for all Granite Staters. It has bipartisan support and is just the right thing to do.
