I strongly OPPOSE this bill, I am part of the generation that lined up in school gyms to receive the polio vaccine — a disease that once devastated families and is now nearly eliminated because we trusted science. I also lived through measles, mumps, and whooping cough. My mother has told me I nearly died from whooping cough as a newborn because my body was too weak to fight it. Vaccines are one of the greatest public health achievements of our time. They have saved millions of lives and protect the most vulnerable among us. We should be following decades of medical evidence and the guidance of trained professionals — not misinformation circulating on social media. Please protect public health and oppose efforts that undermine vaccine access.
