Please vote no on HB1773. Families relying on SNAP have a hard enough time without facing additional restrictions and regulations. Poor children deserve birthday cakes. Kids eating a potentially repetitive diet of rice and beans or whatever was available at the food pantry deserve an occasional treat of their choice. And honestly, SNAP is such a small amount of money that whatever it costs to administer this new rule would just be silly. Please oppose.
