Banning vaccine clinics from operating at schools during school hours is irresponsible, as is requiring a parent/guardian to be physically present for his/her child to get any vaccine at a school clinic. The no-cost vaccine clinics operated by the NH Public Health Association are necessary to reach "herd immunity." Without these clinics, many children, especially those whose parents cannot afford to take time off from work, would not be vaccinated. Unvaccinated children are a threat to those who cannot be vaccinated due to health issues. All NH children deserve to be protected against the most dangerous and deadly diseases.
