How much better the Legislature's time could be spent looking into a way to get the Double Up Food Bucks or other such programs into more supermarkets so that low income people could afford fresh fruit and vegetables. Right now this program is only available in a few co-ops in NH where the price of fresh produce is so much more expensive that using the program doesn't help much. This is one more in a series of bills designed to punish and demonize low income Granite Staters.
