I oppose the repeal of the Reading Recovery Training Program because it provides essential early reading support to students who struggle, helping prevent long-term learning gaps. Eliminating this program would remove proven teacher training and resources that directly improve literacy outcomes. Our focus should be on strengthening programs that support all students, not cutting them.
