Here we go again with an attempt to remove full local control of public school districts, which is absolutely ludicrous and not the New Hampshire way. It makes literally no sense to make regional school units/districts and then elect chief school administrators with no educational background. The assertion that public schools can benefit from being "run like a business" has NEVER served in any capacity in a school and never had the immense responsibility of educating youth. The school districts answer to the PEOPE OF THE TOWN/CITY and their leadership does as well; removing that LOCAL CONTROL is - once again - moving further away from what New Hampshire stands for and what we, as residents, want. Stop trying to create problems that don't exist! I strongly OPPOSE this bill, and hope that lawmakers in the State House do, too!
