A parent is responsible for their child’s wellbeing, and could be charged with neglect if they fail to seek medical care- yet they cannot access the records? The parent is also responsible since for paying the bill- yet they legally cannot verify what services were received or performed? This is absurd and wrong on every level. Parents MUST have access to their minors children’s medical records.
