As a women's health nurse of 30+ years, I am concerned that the state is trying to legislate support for "pregnancy support centers" which so far in NH have been strictly pro-life, anti-abortion and to some extent, anti-contraception and anti-choice. We all know what these centers actually are. I am not opposed to them existing. I am opposed to them being supported in statute and funding (which I expect is coming in another bill) at the same time a faction of the legislature and/or Executive Council tries to eliminate funding for agencies that provide comprehensive preventive reproductive health education and planning for women and men alike.
