Good morning, I *OPPOSE* HB 1155 and I want you to vote against it. This bill would make harmful changes to the membership and responsibilities of the home education advisory council. Many 'home schooled' parents and students do an excellent job of educating their students in the manner they thinks suits best. Why? Partly BECAUSE THERE IS OVERSIGHT from the education advisory council here in NH!! HB 1155 leads to LACK of oversight, thus making attempts at home schooling regulations and accountability to NH education standards a joke. Result? Home schooled students in NH cannot function in the 'real world!' This bill is nothing more than another attempts by NH "Free Staters" to remove all oversight and regulations from the world of pre-K through high school academic standards.
