I have seen SNAP programs help cover the gap with families working minimum wage jobs. It makes a difference in the health of children and is vitally important. If you don’t want SNAP, then raise the NH State minimum wage to a livable wage, maybe starting at $18/hour. Don’t make SNAP harder to access. Stop the cruelty and absurd regulations. Assist those less able. Don’t punish.
