What possible good reason would there be for repealing a bill that supports targeted reading intervention for our youngest students? Training teachers in these interventions helps prevent students from ending up needing far more costly special education services. If we are truly interested in making sure NH students are strong readers- which impacts ALL areas of their education and their lives- then supporting reading intervention needs to be a PRIORITY not something we are eliminating.
