This would protect anti-abortion centers from state and local regulation related to abortion or contraception information, referrals, or services. This would allow such centers to spread misinformation unregulated. Abortion is healthcare, this decision should be made by the individual and their healthcare professionals, and they need to trust that their healthcare professionals will give them all the facts. There is no reason to have these centers be unregulated unless the goal is to allow them to spread information against what laws and regulations require. This could be omitting information about symptoms and side effects, not providing information about alternative options etc. These centers need to stay regulated because they have the potential to spread misinformation that effects womens lives. There is no reason to make these centers exempt from these regulations unless the goal is to allow them to spread misinformation.
