Please do not end the refuge resettlement program. Immigrants entering the country legally contribute to our community in many ways. They have come to the US/NH to escape untenable situations in their home countries. Many of these people were professionals in their countries but were forced to leave. The resettlement program helps new Americans learn English, find their footing in a new country, and helps them become contributing members of society. The work, pay taxes, and enhance our communities. The resettlement program is necessary to aid people in a time in their lives of great need.
