I strongly oppose this bill. I have gotten to know a number of families from Afghanistan as they have settled in NH. They worked in support of the United States vs the atrocities of the Taliban and should not be subjected to being denied resettlement. I would not be a contributing member of our country with a 49 year career as a teacher if my parents had not been allowed to come to the United States from Armenia during the genocide. Our country was built, in part, by immigrants and respectfully submit that this bill not be supported.
