This hateful bill would remove all existing protections in NH law for people who might be targeted, discriminated against or otherwise mistreated based on their gender identity. It would repeal laws that currently prohibit discrimination based on gender identity in areas like employment, education, housing, and health care. NH’s Uniform Crime Reporting System would no longer keep track of hate crimes if they were motivated by bias about gender identity, law enforcement officers would be allowed to profile people based on gender identity, and the Foster Care Children’s Bill of Rights would no longer protect foster children from discriminatory treatment by their foster parents and others based on gender identity.
