This bill limits the use of "X" as a gender designation on NH drivers' licenses and identification cards. This bill would needlessly make it more difficult for nonbinary and intersex people to obtain identification cards as well as force nonbinary and intersex people to have IDs that do not match their gender. Everyone in the state of New Hampshire should have the right to have their gender on their IDs, and removing "X" as a gender designation limits the rights of some citizens to be able to have accurate IDs.
