I oppose HB1165. My spouse holds a license with an X designation Removing the X designation on licenses will make them more confusing and less accurate. Sex and gender have nothing to do with driving and are only marginally helpful with identification. The only reason to rescind the X designation is to punish those whose gender isn’t binary in an effort to get them to conform to a false gender binary. They will not conform. Regardless of the law.
