I oppose HB1165. I hold a license with an X designation Removing the X designation on licenses will make them more confusing and less accurate. That is assuming gender information has a place on licenses to begin with. Sex and gender have nothing to do with driving and are only marginally helpful with identification. Nobody has ever cared or been concerned to check my gender, it doesn’t even help get a screener of the same gender at the airport. The only reason to rescind the X designation is to punish those whose gender isn’t binary in an effort to get us to conform to a false gender binary. We will not conform. Regardless of the law. Would’t it be better to have an accurate document? Vote ITL
