HB1165 seeks to remove the “X” designation from NH Drivers Licenses and identification cards, making it harder for non-binary and intersex folks to navigate legal identification. I see no purpose for this bill other than the intentional erasure of non-binary and intersex people. This is wrong. Let people live as they are and identify themselves as they see fit.
