This bill would put the burden of proof on NH farmers to show that their guardian dogs are doing their jobs properly. This would be an unnecessary burden on small farms and homesteads who don’t have the resources to cover their land in cameras. This would make it so that small farms have a new predator to watch for: unwelcoming and anti-farm neighbors. The state of NH should be preserving, supporting, and encouraging farming - not deterring it by giving them unnecessary struggles on top of the difficult task that farming already is.
