I am writing to share my opposition to this bill. Currently, the EFA accounts are managed by a not for profit organization. This allows the program to be managed by parties with no stake in the game. This keeps the approval/denial process unbiased, an truly in the best interest of the students. Not to mention, that year after year, it is proven to be one of the best run EFA programs in the nation. Allowing this program to be run by a for-profit organization puts or children’s educations at risk of being denied or approved based on the financial interests of that organization. Please don’t turn our children’s education into a business.
