Having owned and loved many animals throughout the course of my life, I have been deeply saddened to see the adverse (and sometimes fatal) effects of over vaccination affect my animals. If possible, I would undoubtedly go back in time to choose titer testing if it had been made available to me. So, I am wholeheartedly in support of HB 1488, as this bill would effectively reduce or completely eliminate the need for unnecessary over vaccination in animals. Titer testing is safe and effective with minimal trauma to the animal and should absolutely be a well supported option for owners. I greatly support HB1488.
