Karen Bemis

My name is Karen and I live and vote in Bristol. Like HB1125, I am OPPOSED to this bill because I do not believe School Board Candidates should be able to run with party labels. It is imperative to keep partisan politics OUT of local schools. We already have enough division in our country - let's not make it worse. We need to focus on students, educators, and community needs, not align with party agendas. Parties and/or PACs should not have the ability to pour money into races that have historically remained nonpartisan. Please OPPOSE this legislation.
