I am a nurse of 30 years. My colleagues and I spend more time every month fighting insurance companies for coverage of our patients' medications and procedures. Often these are medications they have been on for years but are no longer covered, per the AI bot at the other end of the phone. How ironic that artificial intelligence is undermining patient health by assuming authority over the actual intelligence, training and experience of human providers. Please support this bill restricting the insurance companies' ability to use AI in determining coverage.
