HB 1268 Does the following for Families: • Ends mandatory notification — only required if you want to access public school programs or sports • Eliminates forced evaluations — no more annual testing, portfolios, or reading logs unless you choose them • Protects against DCYF overreach — homeschooling cannot be used as evidence of educational neglect • Stops school district interference — explicit prohibition on districts regulating homeschool families • Guarantees data privacy — prevents state tracking of homeschool students PLEASE SUPPORT THIS BILL!
