I vehemently oppose any attempt to legislate gender identity in any way. Gender identity is hard wired into the brain during the 2nd trimester of pregancy (proven science). As yourself when you first realized you were a boy or a girl. If you are cis-gender (you body and mind match in sex and gender), then you can't answer that question - it doesn't make sense to you. But if you're a transgender person (or child), you know EXACTLY when you realized who you really were. If your brain was wired for male (you KNOW that you're really male) then no politician should be able to say that he or she knows better and passes laws that say you can't say or be who you know you are. If you're male, your body is male and your brain says you're male, how would you feel if some uneducated politican said that from now on you have to dress and present as female. How would you feel about that? Put yourself in these people's shoes and THINK before pass legislation based on opinion and not science.
