The current law on rabies vaccines is causing us to over vaccinate our pets making them ill and at times killing our pets. Often the rabies vaccine gives lifelong immunity. We are currently over vaccinating our pets. There is no weight-based dosing as a small 5-pound dog will get the same dose as a 150-pound dog and their little bodies have a hard time processing such a high dose. Titers are proof of immunity and proof another vaccine is not needed. Please help keep our pets healthy and pass this bill to allow titers as proof of immunity. All of our pets' bodies are different and process the vaccines differently. One dose fit all is harmful to our pets. Please let the titers be proof of immunity for the sake of our pets vs the sake of those who stand to gain profit for from the current law.
