Selena Gallen

I homeschooled my son with the help of some tutors from seventh grade through 12th grade. The schools that I tried to send him to could not deal with his ADHD very well. I did come up against the need to have reviews yet. They went very well. I also had good corporation from the Department supervisor. Yet, all in all I do support the freedom for us to educate our children how we see fit, especially when the local schools fail us and endanger our child’s self-esteem. If children are our future, then their self-esteem should be intact when they graduate school. I found that the self-esteem goes down after kindergarten in most public school children at the time I was schooling So I would appeal to you to honor our choices as parents. Obviously if education is important to us and we homeschool, we’re going to give them the best education we possibly can. And if we need help, we will reach out for it ourselves.
