I am a proud dog mom living in New Hampshire. I care deeply about my dog’s long-term health and longevity, and I am increasingly concerned that automatic, one-size-fits-all rabies booster requirements may not reflect what modern veterinary science knows about immunity. HB 1488 offers a responsible, science-based option: allowing veterinarians to use rabies antibody titer testing to guide decisions instead of automatically giving every dog a booster on a fixed schedule when it may not be medically necessary. I respectfully urge you to pass HB 1488.
