My name is Shayla Anderson and I am from Merrimack, NH. We are a traditional, independent home education family who values the ability to individually educate our children with excellence. I oppose HB 1268 because even with the amendments that have been made, HB 1268 makes multiple changes that reduce family choice, expand district involvement, or create additional regulatory openings. Some provisions are redundant; others generate new confusion or eliminate existing protections. This does not serve home education families or district administration well. Please vote ITL on HB 1268. Thank you for your service to NH residents.
