We need to have quality education for ALL students in our public schools. This includes keeping the topics under (11) Computer Science -(b) Teachers shall use academic and applied instruction to teach the learning areas under subparagraph (a). The following skills shall be integrated into the learning areas: (1) Computer use and digital literacy. (2) Logic and rhetoric. We would be doing our youth an injustice to cut these topics with how much of our lives and work are online, and depend on technology. We'd also be shooting ourselves in the foot, as the children today will be our future workers, scientists, leaders, and caretakers when we are old. We need them to be competent adults, and that starts with giving them an adequate education. New Hampshire needs to figure out how to fund our schools so they have the staff, transportation, safety, and services (including those for students with disabilities) for our public schools. Cutting out topics and lowering the quality of our children's education isn't the answer.
