I implore the state of NH , my legislators and the governor to step up and step in to find a way to help fund public education in NH so that ALL STUDENTS in NH have equal opportunity to the resources and quality education they deserve. Your constituents are telling you this over and over. Towns are NOT saying they do not want public education , they are NOT saying they do not want to pay their share. They are telling you property taxes are not the way to do this and they need help They want schools and students to stay in their community and receive equal resources Changing the language in a bill to deflect the state’s obligation to education is a way to achieve what a few people in power now want . For the life of me. I can not understand why anyone would NOT want to invest in equal education for all students and support for the public schools we have. It is after all —-all of our futures that will depend on those who are students. Please vote NO on HB 1815 Rebecca Darling
