Why doesn't the legislature embrace the future of our young people and fund education appropriately as determined by the State's Supreme Court? Why, for the matter, is the legislature not held in contempt of the Court's ruling? Rather than trying to find ways to subvert public education in New Hampshire, the legislature should be working to find ways to finance it and follow the direction of the Supreme Court. The State has an obligation to provide students with a good education. We need students who can take on the responsibilities of being an adult with the skills and knowledge they need to be productive citizens in our State. How do we attract and retain young families with second-rate schools? I urge you to oppose this shirking of State responsibility to its citizens.
