As somehow who is a system-based victims advocate I must oppose this bill. Victims services is already difficult enough to provide in my small town with the limited resources it has. Limiting the voice of this non-profit would make my and many other advocates jobs harder to encourage victims to speak up and provide them with the support and help that they need to break the cycle that they are in. It takes victims an average of 7x attempts to leave their abusers before they leave them permanently. This bill could potentially make this statistic even higher. There should be more funding to the coalition if anything, not less. This is an extreme disregard of victims in the state of NH.
