Paramedics and AEMTs in NH are already authorized to initiate IV access and administer medications in high-acuity, emergency environments under physician-approved standing orders. If they are trusted to perform these skills in a moving ambulance, they should not be prohibited from performing them in a controlled outpatient setting under physician oversight.
