Honorable Committee Members, I am writing to express my strong support for HB1356, which addresses the statute of limitations for private rights of action regarding medical procedures intended to alter a minor's gender. The long-term effects of gender-altering medical interventions often don't become apparent until years later. Families deserve adequate time to seek justice when their children have been harmed by these irreversible procedures.
