I’m strongly against restricting Paramedic and AEMT personnel from administering IV fluids and vitamin supplements in a controlled environment. These professionals are already trained to do this and handle these procedures in emergency situations without a doctor right there. Adding extra rules for people who are fully qualified and already doing this safely doesn’t make sense. It just creates unnecessary barriers for skilled providers who are more than capable of performing these tasks.
