I firmly oppose any effort to restrict Paramedic and AEMT personnel from administering intravenous fluids and vitamin supplements in a controlled environment. These professionals are already extensively trained and routinely carry out these procedures in high-pressure emergency situations without direct physician oversight. Imposing additional barriers on individuals who are fully qualified and proven capable is not only unnecessary—it actively undermines their established scope of practice and the essential services they provide.
