This is just common sense. I am a dyed in the wool liberal. I fully support the LGB community. The Trans movement is totally different. It is unfortunate and counterproductive the way the MAGA people are using this issue. I'm not a MAGA person, Not even close. My two daughters were groomed by online influencers. One of them was actually persuaded to leave home as soon as she graduated from a prestigious college prep high school and give up her plans to attend college. She was the only child in her class that did not got college. She was the only one from that school that did not go on to college for as far back as they kept records. Both daughters have now desisted. The one that left home lost two years of her life but is now in community college. She desisted when she realised she was not trans but rather a lesbian. The other daughter, who is autistic and has a lot of trouble making friends, did go to college and at college she realize she only wanted to be trans because she received a lot of praise and attention for that in high school. When she had college friends that didn't care that she was trans or not she began to talk to me about possibly desisting. The final straw for her though was that she only wanted to date biological males. Not trans males. She realised that biological males prefer biological females. She now no longer pretends to be a boy. She wears makeup, womens clothes, etc. She posts cute pictures of herself on dating sites. What a relief that she never had surgery or took drugs. She almost did but I talked her into waiting until after she graduated. By then she was starting to desist. I think it is totally irresponsible to let children decide such import, life changing things at such a young age. A child 16 years old can't get a tattoo but can get cross sex hormones? That is crazy.
