A bill similar to this has come up before. I opposed it for the same reason I oppose it now. Health care, and Mental Health are protected by confidentiality laws. Any effort to obstruct a person seeking care for him or herself should not be allowed. We all make what can be difficult choices on the type of care we choose, whether it be for cancer, pregnancy, artificial insemination, depression or surgery. If you are a man seeking help for prostate issues, or need medication for sexual dysfunction: how would you feel if you had to cross a picket line or other barrier in order to get to your appointment? It is clear that this is a privacy issue that should not be interfered with. I thank you for your consideration as you decide how to vote for this bill. Joanna Andros
