Last year, over 30,000 constituents said clearly that weakening the definition of adequacy was unacceptable. Re-introducing essentially the same idea again sends the message that public input is being ignored. That is no acceptable. The state’s constitutional responsibility is to fund an adequate education. By gutting what's considered "adequate" you're trying to get around the Supreme Courts Ruling. Stop revisiting policies that undermine public education funding and start working toward solutions that actually meet the state’s responsibility.
