This bill restricts what is included in the definition of an adequate education. This bill is nothing more than a way for the state to justify contributing less than what is already the lowest amount across the US. Race to the bottom? Destroy public education? Burden local property tax with larger public school contributions? Deepen the education gap in property poor towns? Deepen the wealth gap? Check all of the above. ITL this terrible legislation.
