The question of sex v. gender is fraught with misinformation. Transgender people have always and will always exist. To not acknowledge a child's gender identity is cruel and will only do harm. The transgender adults I know who were not supported as children had horrible childhoods and got out as soon as they could. How terrible to be a child whose parents don't listen, or to be adopted or fostered and put in a home where, with all the other things going on in their lives, to have their identity denied. This bill legislates cruelty. Please ITL.
