NH towns benefit from current use properties in so many ways. They usually require no municipal services, provide payment of taxes based on the agricultural value of the parcels, and they also pay a 10% tax on all the wood that is harvested. The State of New Hampshire would be best served to preserve rural vistas through current use, and protect essential wildlife corridors in order to maintain the unique rural character of the State.
