OPPOSE HB 1815 because it avoids stating what an adequate education actually costs and what the state is responsible for funding. Last year, more than 30,000 residents weighed in opposing a similar bill, so moving this forward again feels like ignoring both the public and court rulings on school funding. Duly elected officials should be following court orders and meeting their constitutional duty, not trying to work around them.
