I am strongly in opposition of this bill as an educator in the state of New Hampshire as well as a resident. I am concerned that if this bill is passed it could lower the minimum standards for core content areas, our students deserve more not the bare minimum! This bill will also diminish the state and local monies that go toward education, even if school budgets are mostly local property tax dollars being raised at the local level. Local towns are struggling to pay their property taxes and are highly in opposition of funding education with their local schools solely because they cannot afford it. This is not okay, our children deserve better!
